Roxanne Kremer, Executive Director Founder, has devoted her life to protecting the animals and natural habitat. She says
"We are all interconnected as if one beating cell. Kill a part of that cell and the whole cell eventually dies."

S.O.S. from the Amazon Rainforest

By the year 2000, more than one million species of earthly life will have become extinct because of man. Experts claim a rainforest area the size of Texas, USA, vanishes each year because of clear-cutting, mining or development, and agricultural activities.
ISPTR/PARD represents Amazon voices and cries, asking for help in protecting the people and all life. We are an American non-profit foundation and we are counting on the young people of the world (both young at heart, and young of body).

We need your support for the protection and preservation of the largest rainforest in the world, the Amazon Basin, by preserving it inhabitants: the people, pink and gray river dolphins, manatees, river otters, primates, birds, millions of insects, thousands of plants, etc.

While everyone is waiting for a crusader to "make it right," our earthly inheritance is being squandered away. We can do the work, but we need resources! We need help!

ISPTR/PARD, composed of a handful of volunteers, have been working in silence to get the work done. They have made significant progress in shaping positive environmental attitudes and developing beneficial educational/conservational programs. CUMACEBA

At a time when the world seems poised on the brink of environmental catastrophe, it is easy to succumb to feelings of despair and hopelessness. Yes, there are complex problems to be solved and serious challenges to be faced head-on. By opening our hearts, rolling up our sleeves and working with the people at governmental and village levels, ISPTR/PARD is exerting a positive influence on the fate of the rainforest and all of its inhabitants.

Despite the "prophesies" of some doomsayers, there is hope for these magnificant repositories of biological diversity because we are making a difference and you can make a difference too!
